On Tuesday September 27th I called Gillece around 9am for a bathtub faucet that had been leaking!. When I set my appointment I was told someone would be there between 10 and 2:. At about a quarter to 2 I called back to see if the plumber was close and they told me they were running behind and the next available plumber would be sent to our home and they meant to call me and tell me that but they forgot.. More time passed, and i called again around 5 and they told me the same thing that they were running behind'. Then around 8:30 I get a call and they told me they had to reschedule for the next day?. I was placed in a 8 to 12 block for the following day?. They finally made it out and the plumber did hardly anything and told me I had to replace the entire water line system in my home which came to over 17 thousand dollars.. I called another plumber who came out in less than 2 hours and fixed the faucet for less than 150 dollars and said my water lines were fine:. Gillece is a con game! 35b2334

I called gillece because i was worried and they were the only ones to come out same day . I researched the problem said it was propably the neutral bar. Gillece called and came out after i was done working they got to my house at 8:21 pm and left at 9:27pm while there rick said it would be 4300 for new panel box then he said they can make me a deal for 3557.00 I had two other estimates from local electricians because i really didnt feel as though less than an hour was worth $908.00 I have contacted Gillece and my back they have a hold on my account till dec 3 at midnight and I then am going to bank to dispute. I have filed a complaint against the BBB I am so mad.. Anyone have any contacts or information please send to me

Tow Nail hasen't posted anything new that you could't have seen 10 months ago that I posted or other employee's posted. All you need to do is look back and find out anything you want about Tom Gillece and his team of con-artists.

Tow Nail is right. I used to work at Gillece. The whole advertising campaign is designed to get a salesman into your house. Do you they are going to make money charging $19.95 to check your furnace or $99 to unplug your pipes? It's all a con game to get their trained sales technicians into your house to tell you that your plumbing or your furnace is messed up. When they ask you how old your house is that tells them how old your plumbing or furnace. That way they can send their trained con artists out to convince you that something is terribly wrong with your plumbing because your house is so old. If you seem like a good mark, they send their boy Adam or Steve out for your plumbing or Ron for your furnace. It's all designed to convince you that you have a terrible emergency that needs to be corrected immediately. As you read on this complaint board most of the people spend very little money to fix the problem once they figure our the con game they have been set up for. I most cases they get their problems fixed by another company for a couple of hundred dollars and not thousands that a Gillece troll tells you NEEDS to be done. Has anyone ever seen an ex-employee post on any of these complaint boards who say they loved working for Tom Gillece?

When I had my complaint Celeste is the person I spoke to. I demanded to be put through to the owner. She said NO. I guess he doesn't take any responsibility for what he does to people. He does take responsibility for depositing my money into his bank account. What a bad deal all the way around. How can he still be in business?

Thank you Tow. I am actually in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB and I plan on contacting the AG soon after. I initially called into Gillece after this service call and I was transferred to a woman by the name of Celeste. I suppose she's the woman who has the unfortunate job of dealing with all of their many unhappy customers. Speaking to her didn't do anything, I was told someone would look into it. I have yet to hear back from her so I am taking the next steps with the BBB and AG. How a company like this still manages to stay in business without getting shut down is completely beyond me. I feel terrible for those who have been suckered into their con game. I hope the AG shuts this company down for what they do to everyone. They're not there to help, their motives are obvious, they just want to suck as much cash out of you as possible. This should be illegal.

Let me explain how this works. The reason you was pushed into another day was because there were other jobs that were potentially worth more. The guy who runs dispatching tell his people on Tom Gillece's orders to put the big jobs first. It doesn't matter if you called in before them because the big jobs go first. They send their sales gunslingers out to those places. Please contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office and ask for Jennifer kelly. She is the point person on the Gillece investigation. Let them know what happened to you.
