Before hiring a contractor or service person it's a good idea to do some research because what you find might just save you from making a terrible decision. I understand that when you have a huge catastrophe one of the last things on your mind is "i better look them up on the internet and read reviews" it's more like open a phone book or do a quick internet search for a company or call the first people that come to mind!. But after someone takes advantage of you because of your situation and you're left footing an enormous bill, you'll be kicking yourself:. The best and only way to make a company that has done you wrong pay the price is by taking action.. this means tell who you can - get the word out'. go to the BBB and attorney general and file a complaint|. go to the media even! The more people know about a companys wrongdoings, the less business they'll receive and then starts the downfall of the company;.

Obviously this company has wronged many many people and what you should all do it get together to file a class action lawsuit - i'm sure there's many more out there who haven't posted complaints on any sites at all! If nothing is done then Gillece will continue to do this to people as long as they can;. the hard-working people of Pittsburgh will continue to lose and Tom Gillece will fill his pockets and continue to win! DO NOT let this keep happening! I urge every single one of you who have been taken advantage of, ripped off and robbed by them to get together and show this company you're not about to sit back and take it|. Do not let them win! take legal action! You have the right to! 35b342a

Another route to go maybe to contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), they are the national version of the PA Attorney General.

I didn't see anything on their Facebook site? Perhaps I missed it! But I agree a Facebook page should be made for everyone to get together so we can all get this rolling. Any kind of webpage even, we need something and instead of just talking about it let's do it! Of course Gillece will send in their "spies" but with a company like that how could they not see something like this happening sooner or later? You can only wrong so many people for so long before they fight back and take you down! Let them spy who cares, if they do its because they're scared that their customers are finally doing something about it in a big way. Let's go people! & Be sure to file a complaint with the attorney general as they are investigating Gillece.

Ron, if you start a Facebook page on this please let all of us know. One thing you must be careful of is that no Gillece spies get access to what we discuss. I think everyone should have a way for us to verify who they are. This way if there is any kind of law suit these jerks wont see it coming.

I wish I'd read this before I called them when I was freaking out over a sewer back-up. Cost me $7,000 for a new sewer trap because of tree roots.

1) My house is only 29 years old with cast iron pipes... every other person I've talked to has told me there was absolutely no reason to replace it, and it could've been easily treated for $100 or so per year (at most)

2) Replacing the sewer trap does nothing about the tree roots they found, the roots continued to grow. So I called them because they offered a lifetime warranty- they proposed to replace the entire drain line (down to the street!) because the trap was fine, but now the rest of my line was messed up

3) I called someone else for a second opinion this time before agreeing to anything and $175 later my line is clear and I've had no problems since.

Avoid these guys like the plague, I am all in if there's a class action suit out there. I don't care if it costs me $10,000. I'd rather give it to a sleazy lawyer than an ultra-sleazy contractor rip-off artist!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I might just have to start the facebook page, that's an excellent idea

Gillece is advertising on Craigs List for service techs this week. I guess they must have found more honest people they needed to fire.

Let's do it. Where can we meet/speak with one another...maybe a facebook page or something.
