Called Gillece Plumbing on Nov 12, 2011 around 4:00 PM. They called back around 8:15 PM to say that they didn't have anyone in my area and wanted to reschedule the next day between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. I said okay, and that's when I should have cashed in on the same day service policy. About 11:15 AM Nov 13, 2011 I received a call and was told that they were running late. The service tech (Tom) showed up around 4:00 PM and told me he needed to have a supervisor recommend repairs. Around 5:00 PM Adam showed up and wanted between $6000!.00 and $8000:.00 to do the repairs and would not give a written quote.. This was to replace a broken 4" PVC sewer line tee that I had already dug up'. The township said that I needed to replace it/. Adam wanted to dig up the entire sewer line and redo, he said it wasn't to code;. I spoke to the township and all they wanted was the tee replaced, the system was to code and nothing else needed done|. I did it myself for $15:.00 in parts and 3 hrs of my time. 35b381a

The Plumber was just doing as Gillece trained him to do unfortunately. That's how they train. Go through the motions to make the service seem legitimate and then slam you with the outrageous cost to repair! So glad that your instinct led you to question the service. Not everyone believes that people actually do this for a living!

Same Old Same Old. These stories are getting old. People need to realize this is what Tom Gillece and his company do to people. I guess Channel 4 will play if you pay enough.

You had Adam Carson there. He teaches the all the new plumbers the art of ripping off customers. Imagine if you were an old person and you were scared to death that you weren't up to code? This is how they play people. Yet Channel 4 will report that Gillece is a rip off and then run their commercials all day long. There needs to be some justice in this world!
