Gillece Plumbing in Pittsburgh (Bethel Park) is a complete rip off. I called about the faucet on my tub not turning off and sewage backing up in my basement. They wanted $2000 to replace the faucet on the tub which usually costs $400 to $500. They wanted $1200 for video inspection of the sewer in the basement if I decided not to have them repair it. Their ad says the video inspection is free. Then they wanted almost $14000 to replace the sewer line in the basement for what other plumbers said costs about $3000 to $4000. Total rip off. I will never call them again! 35b21ce

:( Sewage backing up in basement. Just got a $8700 estimate after I had a Gillece plumber come to my home at 10PM and could not or would not push through a blockage. Next morning had to call a supervisor to come and use the camera through sewage pipes. Decided to call another plumber friend of family and got a snake with a blade broke right through the blockage!!!! Like $8500 CHEAPER!!!! Will never use again and advise you to do the same with Gillece.

$99 drain cleaning deal lmao,$98 an hour and most drain cleaning within that hour ,a good plumber can tell you whats wrong in the first 10 mins with the right equipment in very rare cases I have used a camera but only for a chronic sewer I do charge a machine fee and can assure you all of it goes to cleaning, oiling and sometimes replacing snakes you job should have cost about $125 to 200 depending on how long it takes to clear I apologize for people like this i'm sure when the boss first started he wasn't doing this to customers his plumbers go along with orders

Had Gillece come out because we had a backed up sewer drain. Saw the $99 commercial hundreds of times so figured we'd pay $99 and be done. But oh no, we were at a crisis situation and our entire pipe needed replaced. Really didn't give us an option because they said we'd have problems again within days. So they just wrote out a contract and told us it needed done ASAP. We signed but soon after realized what we were getting into and called to cancel (it's a consumer right- I work in a contract-heavy industry so I know my rights). They said we can't cancel. So they showed up and started digging, hundreds of dollars of damage to our concrete driveway. We had to call the police to have them removed from our property. Apparently they thought they had the deed to our house or something the way they refused to leave the premises. What a nightmare. Turns out we just needed a good basic cleaning of the pipes. Total? $450. Their charge? $5,900. Plus we had an estimate done for what it would cost to do the work they wanted to do by a local plumber... total $1,800. RIP OFF. STAY AWAY.

No Butthead, Gillece does NOT do a good job. They did more damage to my tub which I just ended up fixing myself. Their employees and business model are truly worthless. It's just a matter of time until a class action lawsuit is filed and they are forced out of business.

All you cheap customer's need to get your head screwed on straight. You agreed to the price, you should have gotten 100 esimates. It is your fault you paid too much. But Gilece did a good job didn't he? You forgot to mention that. You get what you pay for. A phone estimate is worthless. Pony up and pay the man for taking care of your problems you cheep *** customers.Poney the Fxxx UP and learn to pay a pro to do work in your home. Gilece aint no ho bo, so You has got to pay a pro's rate.

I had a sewerline replaced by them for $22,000. I thought I had to get it done, it started with a $6,000 amount to replace the drain in the diveway and then worked its way up to needing the line out to the street. They did not even concrete the driveway holes. They had it dug up and said it needed done, I just did not know..it should not cost that much. Everyone tells me I was ripped off.

Ok I called them for their 99 dollar sewer cleaning, The guy gets out here puts the snake into the main drain cant even put it into the main drain properly. When he finaly does he says after 2 mins mind u 2 mins he couldnt get any further that our line was broke! And he would have to send his manager out but still wanted the 99 dollars for doing nothing. My husband refused and got on the phone with the company. We didnt pay. Needless to say we had our city come out and cam our sewar line there was no breaks! Just roots from a tree. When gillece called to schedule main guy to come out I flipped out! Needless to say they never called me again and my plumber unclogged the drain for 100.00 and cleared the roots!! stay away far away from this place

We were also a victim of Gilleece Plumbing. Called them out here to do some simple inexpensive repairs and was quoted a price of over $1500! As the plumber was leaving I decided maybe I'd have them at least snake the clogged toilet - we were told that was a $99 special. When I wanted to apply my $65 service call charge to that (I was told it would apply to any service when I booked them) I was told I could not apply it toward that - the $99 was separate. I was so upset that I stopped payment on my check and now I am being harassed by them and a debt collection agency. I feel that they should have applied my service fee to the service and snaked the toilet. If they were asked to do work and wouldn't, it makes you wonder if they even sent a plumber. I get the idea that they send people out to collect service fees from everyone and don't know how to fix anything.

My $99 dollar drain cleaner got turned into a $1200 power washing of drain lines or over $2000 to dig up my garage floor for a bad drain pipe. Meanwhile all it needed was a snake to unclog the drain.
