Our ac was not working and we decided to take advantage of the Gillece $99 same day service or you don't pay. We called at 9am Tuesday...here it is 7 pm on Thursday and they still never showed. We called many times and they kept promising someone was in the area and would be soon. They also promised to call back when they were on their way and never called. Then every time we brought up it would be free since they did not show they said no it isn't. One person would say that is not how it works and another would say we didn't qualify and then another said we weren't available when we should be although we were tied to the house for 3 whole days and never left because of them. Everyone passes the buck and lies to you. We called Knoechel who we have used before and they told us when they could make it...showed on time and only charged $145! Do not trust a man with a parrot on his shoulder! 35b4099

Gillece keeps advertising for plumbers and techs saying its for long term employment. Some joke hardly anyone makes it through their first year unless they are a scammer.

Well no service should be for free! What we are talking about here is being able to get good service at a fair price. It would seem the Gillece motto should be "LACK OF SERVICE FOR AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE". It is unfortunate that uninformed consumers end up posting on these message boards after they have been taken advantage of and not before. I have learned my lesson now and check the internet for complaints before I hire someone to work in my home. I also strongly suggest that if you have been ripped off that you contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office and ask to speak to Jennifer Kelly. She is the one in charge of fielding the complaints about this company. She will return your call if you leave her a message.

Typical treatment from Gillece. Nothing is for free from this company "ever". You will all pay more in the end. They will always make there money back.

Notsodumb the deal is your job didn't have money potential. They probably pushed your job to the side in favor of more possibly lucrative jobs. That's how it works there. When you call for an appointment they ask you how old your house is. The newer the house the less important your call. Why? Because if your house is 30+yrs old they have a better chance of selling/convincing you to spend alot of money. If you have a really old house then they send one of their plumbing or HVAC gun slingers to your house. These guys have a talent to up sell the heck out of a job, whether you need the work or not! Be thankful you called someone else.
