His advertising sounds just like the owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing and, like you all, I wonder how much he paid for it as well. I've read about how all three large companies (Gillece, Mr. Rooter, and Roto-Rooter) are constantly taking advantage of consumers. There are honest tradesman out there, but it is like finding a needle in a haystack! If I had a do-over (victim of Mr. Rooter here), I would've totally chosen A1 Sewer in Pittsburgh because I've read a lot of positive reviews about them and they advertise that they will clear your sewer line or it is free, even though the camera inspection is an additional charge it would be well worth it and cheaper than entering into any contracts with Gillece, Mr. Rooter, or Roto Rooter and then not have your problem solved at all. I certainly empathize with fellow victims of aforementioned companies. :-( They shouldn't be allowed to do this to us, but it keeps happening. How can we stop this vicious cycle? Either have these companies start behaving as they advertise or avoid them if they continue on their path of unethical business practices. Any ideas? I'm not against a business making money but not under false pretenses!

Considering Gillece has the time to waste making its employees post PR statements on a complaint website, I am sure Gillece has enough time to waste telling its employees to vote in local readers choice contest. How else would a company with a C rating on BBB become first place?
