1. Written by Me too on October 19, 2011 Pretty much the same thing happened to me. But I ended up paying the $99. Then I read the complaints on the internet. I would have saved myself $99 and time if I had read this stuff first. How can I get my $99 back. No one is returning my calls.
2. Written by Thank you on October 19, 2011 I just had Gillece come out for the same issue as Plumbest described. They waived the $99 only to tell me the only thing that would work would be over $9,000. It was such a sales job, it was remarkable. I have another company coming for a second opinion tomorrow. I figure it can't be much worse than that first number. Thanks for all the reviews. I definitely should have read these before I called...

4. Written by paul c on September 14, 2011 amazing people actually believe his ads.. ac fix for $99.. only a pirate has a parrot on his shoulder ( and so does tom ) how do you think he bought that big building in bridgeville ?? im sure it wasnt from working for $99 per call
5. Written by Anonymous on September 12, 2011 Very true. Plus I've heard through the grapevine that Gillece isn't doing so well when it comes to business these days. I've heard they are tightening their belts, laying people off, cutting hours and cutting pay due to very slow business which has been getting steadily worse. You can bet Tom Gillece hasn't cut HIS pay however.
6. Written by Anonymous on September 11, 2011 Rhonda, it is very true. The Attorney General has an ongoing investigation into Gillece. I understand they charge alot of money for their services. But all I read on these complaint boards is how the work really wasn't needed to be done. Companies like this are not "Pittsburgh Friendly". In this economy people need a break, not a company that is out to make them broke.
7. Written by Rhonda on September 11, 2011 What amazes me the most is how people continue to use Gillece. I don't know why anybody would ever even consider calling this God-forsaken company after all of their bad press and these complaints. A quick internet search will show you what really happens when you "call Gillece". I was almost a victim, but after Googling the company after I made the call, I quickly called back and canceled once I read the horror stories. My problem was a simple $237 plumbing fix from another local, reputable company. I could only imagine what Gillece would have charged me. Probably thousands of dollars! I heard they're being investigated by the AG anyhow, and when that happens to a company you know it's bad news for them.
8. Written by Anonymous on September 10, 2011 It's the same rip off story we hear all the time from this company. The Attorney General's office needs to put a stop to this!
9. Written by Plumbest on September 8, 2011 I work for a local plumbing company and I have actually been called out to a house where Gillece plumbers where there cleaning up after the homeowner threw them out! They told him his house trap was broke and it was going to be $6,000! I did a video inspection and found no break or separation! They are dishonest people but good for my business, so thanks!
